A Father’s Dream
Do you remember those Saturday mornings when you three were just children? I would get up early and go to the kitchen. You all would still be sleeping at the time, but before long, the aroma of my latest creation would have you all running to the table. What’s funny is that even when you were children, you gave me such a drive and inspiration to be better. I wanted to give you something for you to call your own. You have no idea how many nights I’ve worried about your future. Who you are now. Who you’ll become. I wonder if my father had these thoughts? I wonder how it made him feel? If it was the same feeling that allows me to be as fearless as I am today? I don’t know. But know this my children.…my love for you makes the impossible seem reachable….
